Hospital Software and Machine Integration
Hospital software integration means connecting the systems a hospital already runs so they exchange information rather than each holding their own copy. Where they do not, the gap gets filled by someone typing a result from one screen into another — which is where duplicate tests, wrong values and missing reports come from.
TechMediz connects the systems that produce clinical data to the record that has to hold it. Laboratory analysers report through LIS integration, so a result lands against the sample it came from. Imaging connects through PACS, and reports from external scan software attach to the patient file rather than staying in the scanning room.
The same applies on the administrative side: electronic health records, pharmacy and billing read and write the one patient record, so an admission, a prescription and an insurance claim describe the same episode of care. Integration is not free — systems disagree about formats, the setup is real work, and patient data has to stay protected while it moves — which is why it is scoped department by department rather than promised as a switch.

Can TechMediz connect to our existing laboratory analysers?
LIS integration with laboratory analysers is part of the laboratory module, so results post against the sample rather than being typed in from a printout. Which analysers and which protocols is a question for the scoping conversation — it depends on what the machines themselves support.
What about our scan and imaging software?
Imaging connects through PACS, and the radiology module also accepts a PDF report uploaded from external scan software, which covers the machines that will not talk to anything else.
Is integration always possible?
Not always, and it is worth saying so. Systems that were never built to exchange data may have no interface to connect to, and the ones that do still take setup work. What we can tell you is which of your systems will connect and what each one takes — bring the list to a demo.
