Radiology Management Software with Scan Tracking

Imaging is usually the department where a hospital's records fragment, because the scan software and the hospital system rarely speak to each other.

TechMediz radiology management software closes that gap by accepting a PDF uploaded from external scan software and filing it against the patient's UHID. Whatever produced the image, the report ends up in the same record as everything else.

Reports written in-house use radiology templates, scans are allocated to a reporting doctor, and scan status is tracked so the desk can answer where a report has reached. Released reports are visible from the doctor module and searchable in medical records.

Radiology Module — common questions

  1. Can reports from our existing scan machine be attached?

Yes. The module accepts a PDF uploaded from external scan software and stores it against the patient record, so imaging done on separate equipment still lands in the same place as the rest of the file.

  2. How is a scan allocated to a reporting doctor?

Doctor allocation is part of the module, and scan status tracking then shows where each study has reached — requested, scanned or reported.

  3. Are radiology reports available to the treating doctor?

They are. Reports attach to the patient's UHID, which is what the doctor module reads from, so a clinician sees the imaging alongside the history and lab results.
