OP Management Software for the Out-Patient Department
The out-patient department is where most hospitals feel the strain first — a long queue, several Doctors, and a patient who needs a bill, a prescription and two tests before they leave.
TechMediz OP management software checks patients in doctor by doctor, so each consulting room sees only its own list. OP billing and consulting happen against that check-in, and previous visit details are one click away when the patient is back for a follow-up.
Prescriptions written in the consulting room reach the pharmacy counter directly, and lab test and scan requests are raised the same way. Files get a barcode label, and returns and discounts at the OP counter need two-level approval.

Out-Patient Management — common questions
What does OPD management software do?
It runs the out-patient visit from arrival to departure: check-in against the doctor, OP billing and consultation, prescription and diagnosis entry, lab and scan requests, and the pharmacy bill — all against the patient's UHID, so nothing is re-entered at the next counter.
How do booked appointments reach the OP queue?
A patient who booked through the doctor appointment app is found on their existing record when they arrive and checked in against that doctor, alongside walk-ins. Booking itself is covered on the appointment management page.
Can a doctor send a prescription straight to the pharmacy?
Yes. A prescription raised during the OP consultation is available to pharmacy sales management, so the counter is not re-keying a handwritten slip.
Does OP management show a patient's earlier visits?
Previous visit details, diagnosis and pharmacy billing history are all visible from the current consultation, because they hang off the same UHID created at patient registration.
